Day 01: Delhi
Arrival and check into Hotel. Over night at Hotel ( if time permitted, half day sight seeing tour of Delhi. Over night at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi Haridwar
After breakfast drive to Haridwar. Arrival and check into Hotel. Haridwar - According to legend, Prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to sage Kapils curse. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth from Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sons of King Sagara. In the tradition of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, praying for salvation of their ancestors. PM visit Har Ki Pauri - King Vikramaditya constructed this sacred ghat in memory of his brother Bhatrihari who it is believed had come to Haridwar to meditate on the banks of the Ganga. This ghat later came to be known as Har-Ki-Pauri (also called Brahamakund). At twilight, golden hues of floral diyas reflected in the river Ganga present the most enchanting sight. The imprint of Lord Haris footprint hallows the riverbank temple here. The ghat is regarded the most sacred and auspicious point to bathe in the Ganga during the Kumbh held after 12 years and Ardh Kumbh. In evening enjoy with Arti of Ganges on Har Ki Pauri. Over night at Hotel.
Day 03: Haridwar Rishikesh
After breakfast visit Mansadevi temple - The temple of Goddess Mansa Devi is situated at the top of Bilwa Parwat. The rope-way with its brightly coloured cable cars take devotees to the old hilltop of Mansa Devi. Back to Hotel and after lunch drive to Rishikesh. Arrival at Rishikesh & check into Hotel. Rishikesh - Located in the laps of lower Himalayas, and is surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with Holy Ganga flowing through it. The whole place is considered to be sacred as it is believed that meditation at this place leads to attainment of salvation. Over night at Hotel.
Day 04: Rishikesh
After breakfast sight seeing of Rishikesh. Visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula & enjoy with Ghat of River ganges. Over night at Hotel.
Day 05: Rishikesh Haridwar Varanasi
After breakfast transfer to Haridwar Railway station to board over night train to Varanasi. Over night in the train.
Day 06: Varanasi
Arrival and transfer to Hotel. Varanasi - The land of Varanasi (Kashi) has been the ultimate pilgrimage spot for Hindus for ages. often referred to as Benares, Varanasi is the oldest living city in the world. These few lines by Mark Twain say it all: "Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together". PM sight seeing of Varanasi visit, Vishwanath Temple, Monkey Temple, Varanasi Hindu University etc
Day 07: Varanasi Allahabad
After breakfast visit Ganges River & Boat ride. After lunch drive to Allahabad. Arrival and check into Hotel. Allahabad - A city of many dimensions is what befits a description of Allahabad. In addition to being a major pilgrimage centre. Hindu mythology states that Lord Brahma, the creator god, chose a land for 'Prakrishta Yajna'. This land, at the confluence of three holy rivers - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, blessed by gods, came to be known as 'Prayag' or 'Allahabad'. In evening visit Ghat ( Sangam) on sunset. Over night at Hotel.
Day 08: Allahabad Mathura
After breakfast full day sight seeing of Allahabad visit, Patalpuri Temple - Within this underground temple, inside the fort, lies the Akshaya Vat or the immortal tree. Believed to have been visited by Lord Rama, the temple was also seen by the famous Chinese traveller and writer Hiuen Tsang during his visit to this place. Ashoka Pillar - This gigantic Ashoka pillar, of polished sandstone stands 10.6 meters high, dating back to 232 B.C. The pillar has several edicts and a Persian inscription of Emperor Jahangir inscripted on it, commemorating his accession to the throne. Akshaya Vat - The immortal tree within the Patalauri temple, has found mention in the description of several ancient scriptures, writers and historians. The tree stands in a deep niche above an underground shaft, which is said to lead to Triveni. In evening transfer to Allahabad Railway station to board connected train to Mathura.
Day 09: Mathura
Arrival at Mathura and transfer to Hotel. Mathura - A long line of picturesque ghats - with their steps leading to the water's edge, arched gateways and temple spires extending along the right bank of the River Yamuna, emphasis the sacred character of the town of Mathura. The birth place of Lord Krishna, "the best known, best loved and most complex of Lord Vishnu's manifestations" - Mathura is today an important place of pilgrimage. The city stretches along the right bank of the Yamuna and the continuous line of ghats along the river makes a splendid spectacle when viewed from the opposite bank. PM sight seeing of Mathura visit, chaurasi khamba temple, Gita mandir , fresco painting inside surajmal's chatri, Vishram Ghat. Over night at Hotel.
Day 10: Mathura Ujjain
After breakfast full day sight seeing of Mathura. In evening after dinner transfer to Railway station to board over night train to Ujjain. Over night in the Train.
Day 11: Ujjain
Arrival at Ujjain and transfer to Hotel. Ujjain -Ujjain is the modern name for Ujjayini. Legend has it that in the hoary past, the God like king Shiva of Avanti commemorated his victory over the demon-ruler of Tripura or Tripuri on the banks of the Narmada by changing the name of his capital, Avantipura to Ujjayini Pm sight seeing of Ujjain visit -
Mahakaleshwar Temple, the Vedha Shala, Bada ganesh temple etc . over night at Hotel.
Day 12: Ujjain Omkareshwar
After breakfast drive to Omkareshwar. Arrival and check inn to Hotel. Omkareshwar - the sacred island, shaped like the holiest of all Hindu symbols, 'Om', has drawn to it hundreds of generations of pilgrims. Here, at the confluence of the rivers Narmada and Kaveri, the devout gather to kneel before the Jyotirlinga (one of the twelve throughout India) at the temple of Shri Omkar Mandhata. And here, as in so many of Madhya Pradesh's sacred shrines, the works of Nature complement those of man to provide a setting awe-inspiring in its magnificence. PM visit, Sri Omkar mandhata temple & Siddhnath temple. Over night at Hotel.
Day 13: Omkareshwar Shirdi
After breakfast time free at leisure. After lunch transfer to railway station to Board train to Kopergaon ( Shirdi). Over night in the train.
Day 14: Shirdi
Arrival at Kopergoan station and transfer to Shirdi. Arrival and check inn to Hotel. Shirdi Shirdi is the abode of one of Maharashtra's most revered saint -- Sai Baba of Shirdi. Popularly known as the 'Child of God', Sai Baba preached tolerance towards all religions and the message of universal brotherhood. PM sight seeing around Shirdi visit temples etc.. over night at Hotel.
Day 15: Shirdi Mumbai Departure
After breakfast drive to Mumbai or board train to Mumbai. Arrival at Mumbai and transfer to Airport /Railway station to your next destinations.
